Richard Atkinson
(Master Designer of Papier Mache Art)

Jamaican artist, born October 1970 in the parish of St. Thomas. Richard is a self-taught artist having gained the basic principle of art in school at age 10. His job as a sign artist and illustrator after leaving school allowed him to perfect his skill. Today, Richard is an acclaimed "master in papier mache art"l. His work, through perseverance and diligence has won him several medals in Jamaica National festivals. He also won the best hand crafted product at the Caribbean Gift & Art Show 2002, Greneda.
His artwork has also taken him to group shows in the United States, Europe, Canada, and throughout the Caribbean region.
He mounted his first exhibition entitled "Symphony" on June 16, 2002 at the exclusive Pegasus Gallery, where he saw 30 pieces of work being purchased by art collectors worldwide.

Lloyd Mattis is an internationally respected artist who has worked in Europe, United States and  the Caribbean.   He is well known for his superb illustrations as well as his fine art.  Lloyd's work has graced the covers and pages of many a publications and display materials throughout the world.  His giclees are a hot item in the South Florida market and is a must have for any décor.

Tucker creates a sense of light as well as shadowing in his paintings and is known for using impressionism to capture rural life. The 34-year-old’s “Street Scene” was selected by Bank of Jamaica for its downtown Kingston location. He was also commissioned by Digicel, the country’s main cell-phone provider, to create three
paintings for its corporate office in New Kingston.

A silver medalist in the National Festival Fine Arts Competition, Tucker’s work was exhibited in The Young Generation at the Mutual Life Gallery in 1999 and 2000 and in the Young Professionals Pegasus Gallery in 1998 and 1999.

He developed his style of artistry by first practicing with water colors before graduating to more intricate techniques using oil-based media and acrylics.
